Not only do we love fishing with lures, we also like getting out on the water in a good boat. Our Marine Services include design, repairs and troubleshooting; refurbishing old boats or customising your boat to your fishing needs.
Our capabilities include fibreglass moulding and repairs, steel and metal work, a large paint room, trailer repairs and getting any signage and decals sorted out for you. From canoe’s to speed boats, we’ve got you covered.

About Us
Nick Hughes began his boating adventures as a toddler when the family made a 40 foot junk sail boat, and sailed up the east coast of Australia in the late 70’s. After settling in the sleepy seaside village of Ballina, in Northern New South Wales, Australia; they set about designing and making trawler’s, sail boats, dingy’s, hang gliders and light aircraft.
Nick’s always had a passion for fishing. From remote rivers, deep sea sport fishing, island hopping from OZ to PNG, or just to clear your head down at Mobb’s Bay- fishing, making lures and fixing boats is more than a job, it’s a cherished way of life.
